2019 Summer Events to watch for: 
 
Any families showing or planning to show cattle/ lambs or meat goats need to schedule a summer camp for their exhibitor!!  Below are some of the options - there are many many more.
 
To be notified for the July Goat Draw - you must join the goat remind 101 group.
 
June ASAP- TBD Cattle Hoof trim - still working on date
 
Steer Validation - June 20th Decatur Sale Barn 8am-11am.  Any heifers wanting to show at Dallas State Fair (unsponsored show) must be June Validated.  Heifers can be validated October 22nd for 2020 Spring Major Shows.
 
Area Leadership Camp - June 24th - 26th
Items to bring (not final) - Signed release above, Bedding, towel, toiletries, sunscreen
 
July 8th - Barn opens for lambs and goats.  Dairy Wethers will be available at the end of the month along with pen reservations.
 
State FFA Convention - July 15th - 19th 
 
August 19th - Next WCYF Meeting
 
Sept 9th - Next BABA Meeting, Jr FFA Sign-ups

Barn Rules/ Contract
Barn capacity for the 2019-2020 school year will be set as follows - 6 calves (cattle pens full 3/4/19)
16 Goats/Lambs (open for reservation in July), 11 Hogs (open for reservation September 1st) . Pens are on a first come, first serve ( $50 deposit) basis. Limit one pen/ one run per species/ per exhibitor. $50 non-refundable deposit required per pen. Deposit will be used for barn consumables; and any vaccinations, worming or any other scheduled animal health issues which require all animals in the barn to receive treatment at the same time.
